Coming from Germany, Dachshunds were bred to track and hunt. Over the years, they’ve become an excellent companion for most families. The puppies either have a limited or no AKC registration. The adult doxies at “My Little Dachshund Heaven” are fully AKC registered. However, Liz discourages people from buying her pups just to breed and therefore limits AKC registration. When requested, full AKC registration comes at a higher cost.
