About Dachshund World

Dachshund World's goal is to provide tips and information for dachshund owners and prospective dachshund owners including training, health care, and tips on acquiring a new dachshund. We're a not-for-profit web site and we do this only for the love of Dachshunds. The site is paid for through advertising from our sponsors and Google Adsense and Yahoo ad clicks.

We are deeply involved in Dachshund Rescue organizations and actively promote dachshund adoption over dachshund breeding.

If you have questions or comments we strongly suggest that you use our Forum section. This will allow our readers to provide useful insights and additional tips and information from their vast experience.

Registering for the Dachshund Forum

To make a post, you must first register <<CLICK HERE TO REGISTER>>. Registering is just a matter of giving yourself a Unique Username and giving a valid email address. Once you have registered you will receive a password via the email address you used to register. This User Name and Password enables you to log-in to the the forum.

NOTE: Email addresses provided in the registration process are only used in the validation process and will not be used for anything else. We will never contact you via this email address, or will we ever give, sell or distribute this information to any third party. We are just as much concerned about SPAM as you are.

After you've logged in, you can then change your password to something more memorable than the assigned password. You may also update and expand your Forum Member's Profile. You may also create a New Forum Post for the visitors to view and comment upon.

We reserve the right to edit posts and comments. Inappropriate posts and comments will result in removal of the user without warning.

Posting Comments to the Dachshund Forum

Anyone may add a Comment to forum Posts without registering. However, all comments will be approved before posting occurs. This is to prevent the large amount of spam that can clog the forum section with useless information unrelated to Dachshunds. Once you have had a comment approved, future comments will not require authorization.
